Story
Terrence Higgins Trust is the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity. We support people living with HIV and amplify their voices, and help the people using our services to achieve good sexual health.
The year 2022 marks my 21st Anniversary of living with HIV.
I feel great and I am so appreciative of all the care and support I have received, from the wonderful Healthcare Team and all of the incredible clinical research, which enables people living with HIV to live normal healthy lives.
For people living with HIV good mental health is so important and for me Physical exercise is a major contributor to good mental health. Doing the Brighton & London Red Ribbon walks is yet another opportunity to maintain my physical and mental health.
I volunteer with Terrence Higgins Trust as a Positive Voices Speaker, helping to ensure accurate education and information around HIV, putting the myths of the past firmly into history and getting rid of STIGMA around HIV.
HIV does not define me.
It taught me not to take good health for granted and wait for something else to happen.
I feel great.
Massive thanks for donating. It doesn’t matter how much as every penny will go towards supporting people living and affected by HIV, to bring about change and help work towards eliminating new HIV transmission.
Together we really can achieve ZERO new transmissions of HIV by 2030.
