Story
I’ve done some extreme things and taken some risks over the years. However I never thought I’d say that on Sunday the 4th of September I will be jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft at 10’000 ft doing a tandem parachute jump. This is pushing new boundaries for me but helping to raise money for the NSPCC which is a charity very close to my heart.
Swindon has been at the heart of NSPCC for 125 years and throughout 2022/23 local volunteers are trying to raise £125,000 in celebration and to help keep vital services going for local children and their families.
The NSPCC Service Hub provides services to help children and their families to recover from the impact of abuse. The team works with children who have suffered from all types of abuse which includes physical, sexual and emotional abuse, neglect and those who have experienced domestic violence.
Did you know that £25 could pay for a trained practitioner for one hour, supporting parents and families in caring for their children.
