Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My daughter fell ill thirteen years ago at 21 with M.E. She has essentially disappeared from life because of the impact it has on her body and at 34 has missed out on the normal life milestones of career, having a family etc. She lives in constant pain and is unable to lead a normal life. We really want to see advances in science leading to effective treatments and hopefully one day, a cure. I am walking in the hope any money we will raise will get us closer to that goal. This is a disease that affects an estimated 250,000 people within the UK and because of its impact we are missing wonderful people who have a lot to offer to society.
