Johnny boys Mankini walk of shame · 24 October 2015

The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund (CKDCF) was formed in 2002 with the sole aim of raising funds for children's health, wellness and educational needs in and around the Cumbria area.

Story

On the 24th of October I shall be doing a sponsored walk around the beautiful Ennerdale lake dressed in just...  a Mankini!!!  I have been Volunteered for this courageous yet insanely unsafe walk by Francis Dunnery, Stewart Savage, Andy Stroulger and my soon to be ex fiancée, Debbie Young!!! The Lake District in October is renowned for its blistering heat and scorching sunshine so chances are I'll be spending some quality time in west Cumberland  hospital or the local undertakers afterwards. Please sponsor me while you still can.

Joking aside, the CKDCF is an amazing charity set up by Francis Dunnery in memory of his parents. Over the last 12 years the charity has raised tens of thousands of pounds which has always been wisely spent on local causes.  Please check out the website below to see the amazing work that the ckdcf has achieved.
