I became a Trustee of the Society in 2022 as the Board had a vacancy for a Treasurer. Since that date, I have been inspired by the dedication, commitment and expertise of all the staff, volunteers and Trustees of the Society.

Despite having no prior knowledge of the condition, I have myself had my awareness raised over the past eighteen months. It will be fantastic if I can raise some funds for the Society myself through this marathon challenge.
