Story

We are walking 24 hours to raise funds to build a new Early Childhood Development Centre at Abura Primary School in Northern Uganda through our Mission Partners Fields of Life. This school, built by Fields of Life, is a beacon of light and hope in a post-conflict, vulnerable community in Northern Uganda. In Uganda, only 1 in 10 children between 3-5 years are enrolled in pre-primary education. Together, we can change this and provide the opportunity of quality education for 120 nursery school pupils. This facility will transform the lives of children, teachers and the community. By investing in early childhood development, we can help: Ensure children are safe and fed, protecting them from exploitation and hunger. Provide a conducive environment for children to learn, develop, and reach their potential. Break the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
