Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the big 10km run. I am wondering why I decided to do this but I realised last September life is about taking chances and going for it, its better to give these things a go than regret not doing them.

So here I am a little over a week to go, training is going, erm... well its going, I can run for a good 40mins and hopefully the adrenalin and the fact I'm on the level in good old Hull means things should go quite well.

I decided to run on behalf of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance because whether your just passing through this great county or reside here you never know when you may need it. We all know how those minutes make a difference and the high profile impact (excuse the pun) it had on Richards Hammond's recovery from his horrific crash near York.

So give what you can, and think of me on the Sunday of the 23rd taking one for the team on the mean streets of Hull
