On the 19th June, the Russell family are going to take a walk with jelly in our wellies to raise money for the charity Catherine works for (Safe Families)! We believe that no family should go through a crisis alone. For many of the families that Safe Families volunteers come alongside, life is really hard. But its not always obvious that people are struggling. It is a bit like seeing someone walking along in their wellies, and not knowing that they are actually full of jelly, and the walk is so much harder because of it! Over 1,000 families are supported by Safe Families volunteers each year... but we can only do this with your help. So, to support this amazing work, all four of us (with a few friends we hope too!) will be heading out for a walk with Jelly in our Wellies. As we squelch, gloop and slosh along every pound raised will go towards providing the support and connections a family need to help them with the challenges life throws at them.
