Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, set up in memory of our dad, John Shepherd.

John Shepherd, who played professional football for Millwall, Brighton and Gillingham, passed away on 11th June at the age of 86. He had suffered with Parkinson's disease for around 5 years.

John Shepherd was the loving husband of Esther, dad to Julie, Linda, John and Dominic, grandad of Daniel, Kristian, Gregory, Joe, Amy, Amber, Nathan, Lewis, Dexter, Holly and Jax. He was also great-grandad to Faith, Jake, Hannah, Sophia, Freddie, Jack and Penny. Everyone adored him and he will be sorely missed. His youngest great-granddaughter, Emmie, was born on 18th June and sadly never met her great-grandad.

John's funeral will take place at All Saints Church, The Drive, Hove, at 1pm on Monday 2nd July 2018.

This will be followed by a private family burial at Hove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, we invite friends and colleagues of John to make donations to Parkinson's research via this Just Giving page.

With many thanks to you all,

Julie, Linda, John and Dominic Shepherd
