Fundraiser Army veteran John is all set for his next venture for charity.  The 78 year old ex-army piper of the 1st Battalion Royal Highland Fusiliers, will swim a half mile on the 21st November 2021.

John is a tenant of Bield Retirement housing at Craigengar Park in Craigshill.

This year marks Poppyscotlands centenary year.  John says he wanted to help because Poppyscotland has not been getting much support because  of the pandemic.  

Poppyscotland provide support for current and former members of the Armed Forces as well as their families.  They help men and women who struggle trying to adjust to civilian life.  They provide help, advice, financial support, local support, employment, mobility, housing and support with mental health.

So your help is needed for veterans all over Scotland so please show your support in donating as much or as little as you can.
