Beazley Nepal Volunteer Programme · 4 November 2017 to 18 November 2017 ·

Eight employees from our charity partner, Beazley Insurance, make the trek to Nepal to get their hands dirty to help on our Nepal Earthquake Recovery Project.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My employer Beazley is working with All Hands to help rebuild a school in Nepal. Your donation will be not be used for any expenses such as my travel getting there or my living costs - all these are being met by my employer. Also, Beazley will match your donation!

I feel a sense of shame that I have not done more in my life to help those in greater need than my own and I am grateful and excited for having the chance to help build an earthquake-resistant school in the Sindhupalchok region in Nepal. I am not sure what jobs the All Hand coordinators will ask me to do - paint, lift, clean, hammer, whatever but I don't mind and I will work hard as our time there is limited and I want to make the most of Beazley's investment to helping the Nepalese community. I am proud to have been chosen as a volunteer. Although I am not a construction expert (I'm sure I will learn some skills though - hopefully from a Nepalese), I am confident I will make a valued contribution as part of the overall team effort.

Please give what you can to help this and other similar projects in Nepal! No amount is too small. Thanks!
