Story

As humans we have this strange obsession of giving money to watch friends go through pain.

I couldn't miss the opportunity of cycling 1,000 miles over 11 days without taking advantage of the above and raising money for the Loddon School in Basingstoke.

The Loddon School was established by Marion Cornick in 1988 as a charitable trust to provide a much needed school in the south of England for children who can no longer live at home because of their exceptional support needs. It is the only school of its kind in the UK.

The Loddon School is both home and school for 28 children who have the most severe and complex learning difficulties. Many children also have additional problems associated with autism and epilepsy, including self injury, aggression and disruptive behaviour.

As some of you will know, I am Dyslexia, my sister has Bipolar and my brother is Autistic.  We have all had our own individual battles to face and still do on a daily basis, but have all managed to grow up into fine young adults.  All thanks to a couple of Teachers at our School who has taken that little bit extra time with us.

So please help me to reach my target and help raise some money for this amazing charity and amazing people who take that little bit of extra time to turn these outstanding young people into outstanding adults!

And you never know one of these young people could one day be your boss!

 Thank you.
