I first got to know Friendship Works in 2005 when I was matched with my little friend who was an 8 year old boy living in north London.  I'll never forget how nervous we both were when we met to be matched, but we quickly bonded and spent most weekends together over the next 5 years, swimming, playing football, going to the cinema and just hanging out.  My friend is now 20, six inches taller than me and making his way in the world.

Friendship Works provides fantastic support to families in need and achieves lasting results.  That's why I'm delighted to be running the London Marathon to raise money for this most worthy cause.
