Story
A few years ago we lost a very important member of our family, Ian Geoffrey Lloyd. Geoff was a keen road cyclist and a keen fell runner and would spend a lot of his spare time doing some sort of sporting activity in the Lake District where he lived.Geoff underwent a successful liver transplant but unfortunately died a few years later of Cancer.
A few months ago I was lucky enough to be given one of Geoff's old bikes. I've built it back up and repaired/replaced parts to make it road worthy again. I decided I wanted to ride the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride in his memory and thought Transplant Sport UK would be a good charity to do this for.
Transplant Sport UK activity promote organ donation and organise sporting events for transplant patients including the British and world transplant games.
Thank you for reading my story and I would appreciate any donation you can give for this fantastic cause.
John :)
