Story
Back in 2023 I started to experience significant spells of dizziness that were worrying and debilitating. At their worst all I could do was lie down with my eyes closed and wait for the symptoms to recede.
MRI brain scans at Kings College Hospital followed and I will never forget the emotional release I experienced when the lovely nurse called me to let me know that my tumour was benign. It was a very scary process to have to go through.
More than two years on from this I barely suffer any side effects and only occasionally feel the need to use medication. Of course I am one of the lucky ones, but this isn't about me...
I am committing to cycle 274 Miles in August in order to raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research, plus awareness of the desperate inadequacies that currently exist in the fight to find a cure.
Please, please donate if you are able.
