Story

I am doing a sponsored cycle from London to Paris in September in support of ZANE. The ride takes place over four days, covering around 70 miles each day. (and no - while on the ferry I am firmly embedded on the sofa!) The ride will be a challenge for me, not only dealing with the long distances on consecutive days, but also spending four days on that saddle which is seemingly designed entirely for speed in favour of comfort.

ZANE is a great charity, and supports a cause very close to my heart.  They provide some hope for the elderly who remain in Zimbabwe and are unable to adapt to the desperate economic and social conditions that currently exist there. Please have a quick look at their website to see how they help. Any sponsorship for my ride will go a long way to making someone's life there more bearable.  Many thanks, John B.
