Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

John was diagnosed with a T-Cell Lymphoma 18 months ago (it was supposed to be incurable but not aggressive), unfortunately he only found out 5 days before his death that he had a very aggressive strain called Sezary Syndrome.  It is not well known, impacting less than one in a million of us and really made his life very difficult especially as it progressed quickly during 2018.

The British Skin Foundation funds research work aimed at finding better treatments for all skin conditions.  Some of their previous award grants have been for research into T-Cell Lymphomas and Sezary Syndrome.

If you are interested to know more about Sezary Syndrome, this website is very informative: https://www.dermnetnz.org/topics/sezary-syndrome/

We hope that this money will help others who suffer from this horrible incurable illness or other related diseases like Sezary Syndrome. If you want to contribute, the just giving page will remain open until the end of November.

We really appreciate you donating here or at the funeral in person.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
