 I have been a volunteer and supporter of the charity for several years, and recently joined the board of trustees. There is a need to repair the heating system at one of our projects, which provides educational and basic life giving support, such as the provision of shoes and clothing to children living in abject poverty. I have visited the project, and have a clear understanding of the way it works, giving children hope for a better tomorrow

The Comeno for several years has fascinated me for several years, and as part of my 70th birthday celebrations my son and I are going to walk a section of it, and see this as bringing two of my interests together by using the walk to raise funding to help ensure that those children requiring the charity's help are not prevented from doing so.
