The object of the charity is to advance education through the promotion, support and encouragement of the art of music and in particular the support of musical education programmes to ensure that it is accessible to every child and young person especially those who are under privileged.

Story

Music was a big part of John's life and he would always beam when he heard his favourite jazz tunes. John developed his love of jazz in his teenage years and enjoyed visiting the Ronnie Scott's Club in London.
John played the clarinet in The West Midlands Concert Band for several years with Sarah and always encouraged both Sarah and Chloe in learning to play and appreciate music.  For these reasons we feel that John would be pleased with our choice to support the Ronnie Scott's Foundation, working to give young people access to music education, particularly those living in disadvantaged circumstances.
