John is running the London Marathon (23rd April) and Charlotte is running the London Landmarks Half Marathon (2nd April). As soon as we got the places for these events, we knew that we wanted to put them to good use and raise money for a local cause. We specifically wanted to fundraise for a charity where we know that every single penny goes towards helping those in need.

CFF is a charity based on Narborough Road in the West End of Leicester (LE3), who provide a variety of programmes to support young people in the local area through very challenging times. Any support you can give will be much appreciated, and help us through some of our long training runs knowing that we are helping to make a difference!

About the charity:
CFF support parents, carers and young people who are experiencing behaviour, relationship and mental health challenges. We do this through a variety of group work programmes. CFF was founded in 1990 and has been helping families in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ever since.

We help young people and their parents with challenging behaviour and conflict, low mood and depression, worry and anxiety, low self confidence and low self-esteem. We also help young parents (under 25) on their parenting journey from pregnancy through to their child turning 2 years old.
