We are hosting a football match at the Forest Town Arena on 9th April 2023, kick off 2pm in memory of our much loved friend, husband, father, brother and grandfather John Evans who sadly lost his battle with cancer. We would like anyone who wants to attend to come watch and have some fun, a laugh & remember our friend the way he'd have loved. Football and beer! 

His lovely wife Penny and family have allowed us to do the match in his name which means a lot to us as he was an integral part of our close friend group from the Greyhound pub in Mansfield Woodhouse. Many thanks in advance to AFC Mansfield football club who are kindly allowing us to use their facilities for the game, go and support them whenever you can! 

All proceeds will be given to the Jerry Green dog rescue as he would have wanted. He loved this charity and even his funeral donations were given to them. We hope to raise as much as possible to help the doggos like John wanted. Come along have a watch of some overweight, unfit, beer swilling athletes try and play football for a laugh.
