Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2025 · 14 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Shared Parenting Scotland promotes Shared Parenting. Kids whose parents split up should have an ongoing, caring and nurturing relationship with both their parents. Kids who maintain contact with both their parents have better outcomes now and in later life. Help us to promote shared parenting.

Story

This will be my fourth Kiltwalk of the year - dreich in Glasgow, braw in Aberdeen and sunny in Dundee.

Every child has the right to a loving relationship with both their parents.

Research shows that children who stay properly connected with both parents do better in school, form healthier relationships, and grow up with better life outcomes.

At Shared Parenting Scotland, we support 1,000s of parents every year through our helpline, face-to-face groups, and training courses, helping families find solutions and insights that keep children at the heart of all decisions.

By donating to our Kiltwalk fundraiser, you’ll be directly supporting our frontline work, helping parents ensure their children get the stability, love, and care they deserve.

Every donation, big or small, helps families thrive. Thank you for your support!
