Story

The incredible work that CHAS does across the Highlands was brought to our attention by CHAS nurse Alison, our Funeral Director Iain Jack's partner.

'Children's Hospices Across Scotland' offers full family support for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions.  Locally, through their homecare services, they provide palliative care, family respite and support.

None of the team here at JFS are runners and so the 10K really is a big challenge for us. The training is already proving to be much harder than some of us thought - particularly in the sweltering temperatures we have recently experienced!  However, we think this charity's sterling work is invaluable and being able to raise funds for them will make all the exhaustion and blisters worthwhile!

About the charity

We're Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). We care for children throughout Scotland with life-shortening conditions and their families. We make sure that no matter how short their time together may be, it is filled with happiness. Even in the pain of grief, we're determined that joy lives on.
