In memory of Peggy Harris

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hello all, thank you for viewing my page and welcome to Challenge JG.

I have been wanting to set up a charity event in a while now and wanted to do something a bit different especially now we are a little more limited with lockdown/isolation.

So hear is the deal . . I want you, yes you to set me a challenge and donate a little of you spare change if possible to do so.

If ever there is a time to come together and do things it is now, so get in touch and set me a challenge. You may be a friend or family member or we may of never met so come and say hi and bring on the challenge.

Rules are simple:

- has to be something I can do from home or surrounding area.
- nothing that will take too long (2mins - 30mins ideally) as I am looking to do many challenges not just one big one like run a marathon etc.
- not much equipment etc required, needs to be stuff I will have around the house if I need equipment for the challenge or something I get get easily at the current time.
- nothing rude/x rated please I want to provide videos and pictures etc if the challenges.
- something I can do with you live if possible, would love to do the challenges with you.
- if you are unsure on me being able to do challenges please get in touch first before donating and I can let you know prior to you donating.
- if you do set me a challenge please share the page so people can see.

More about the Society:

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

I have had both my Nan and now my Grandad both suffer with dementia and seen the effects first hand. I would love to help this good cause in any way I can.
