Story
We can make a difference collectively - please assist me!
I could just have ridden, but I would like to raise money for a reputable charity....
I was invited to do another marathon cycling event by my good friend Damien Coates. This ride is overseas and by far the most challenging ride I will have attempted to date, encompassing nearly 1500km and huge climbing elevation especially crossing the Pyrenees Mountains in France and Spain .
I have chosen to raise money again for the Black Dog Institute which I think is a wonderful charity raising awareness and improving ways to assess, treat and combat mental health issues which are way too prevalent in today's fast paced world.
The ride will start in London and we will ride to Portsmouth Harbour where we will board an overnight ferry to cross the English Channel, arriving arriving at St Malo in France. We will ride down the beautiful west coast of France before cutting tackling two days in the Pyrenees Mountain as we head for Barcelona in Spain.
