I am John, from the Philippines and I arrived in London last October, slowly settling in with the change of environment (mainly the weather) and daily routine. But ready to get back to a more active lifestyle (even if it means training in cold condition) :) and so...

This March 24, I'm taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon for VSO. This is my 4th 21K run, however, what makes this one meaningful is knowing that I am running for a worthy cause. In 2013, I was a VSO ICS volunteer in the Philippines, working on projects surrounding adolescent reproductive health. VSO has done many development programmes around the world especially across Asia and Africa surrounding issues on poverty and issues concerning women and children. This is why I am dedicating this first 21K run in the UK to the organization who I know is doing great work and hoping to raise £350 for VSO.

To make each kilometer worthwhile please dig deep and donate any amount. I will greatly appreciate any donation and this will further inspire me when the going gets tough.
