Canterbury to Rome Cycle Ride · 9 July 2007

Canterbury Cathedral has stood for 1400 years and is special to people across the world. Your support will enable us to: protect the awe-inspiring architecture; conserve the dazzling stained glass; develop our world-class music; and engage and educate visitors.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Canterbury to Rome Bike Ride 2007. On the 10th August I will set off with 30 diverse characters to cycle the Via Francigena, an ancient pilgimage route from Canterbury to Rome. The intention is to cycle the 1200 miles going over the Alps via the Great St Bernard Pass at 2500m and arrive in Rome on the 26th August.

I have set a target of £2000. If you would like to support our efforts by making a donation on this website your generosity would be much appreciated.

Note : Justgiving cannot split money between charities so Save Canterbury Cathedral will receive your on-line donation on this page

If you prefer your on-line donation to benefit Macmillan directly please log onto my other page www.justgiving.com/JohnCMackinnon

Please note that all other donations which I have received will be split equally between Save Canterbury Cathedral and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
