Story

Hi and thanks for visiting my online fundraising page.

As you may well know i am a fire fighter on red watch at Stockhill Fire Station and i am hoping to raise funds for the Fire Services Benevolent Fund. The Ben. fund provides assistance to both serving and retired Fire Service personnel , their widow/ers and dependants who may have suffered injuries while serving in the Brigade.

As you can see by the picture i ran the Robin Hood marathon last year and managed to raise over £200 for the fund and this year i hope to raise a lot more by running the New York marathon, along with CM Richard Ferguson also of red watch. I am getting older and finding running that bit more difficult so take pity on an ageing fireman and donate today, any amount no matter how small will be greatfully appreciated!

Just to let you know i have donated £300 of my own money to the fund to cover some of the cost of the trip, so you can rest assured this is not just a freebie trip for myself! So if not for me donate to help those men and woman who have given up so much so that we could all sleep soundly in our beds confident in the knowledge the Fire service is close to hand.......

Many thanks for your support and get donating
