Story

In April, I will be running the London Marathon for Demelza Hospice Care for Children. Demelza is a charity that is close to my heart as I have been visiting it's hospice in Eltham for many years at Christmas with Charlton Athletic Football Club.

When visiting Demelza I had a tour of the hospice and spent time with some of the children and their loved ones that Demelza supports and what they do is just incredible. Many people believe that a children's hospice is a sad place, it is in fact the opposite.

Demelza provides specialist care and emotional support to children with serious and terminal conditions and their loved ones.  By sponsoring me for the London Marathon you will be helping Demelza to continue to provide specialist care and emotional support for children with terminal conditions and their loved ones. So they can enjoy their time as a family, for as long as they have.

Whether it be £1 or £100, every single donation will be greatly appreciated and can make a difference in a child's care.

Thanking you all in advance, JJ
