Story

Hello Folks,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Well my first Charity race, the BUPA Great Capital Run for Help A London Child was completed on Sunday 15th in 46:14 min, (go to www.greatrun.org and enter my bib number 5481 for official time), coming 457 out of 10'000 runners. Not too bad for a first effort but better than that i managed to reach my target of £500 and there are still a few promises to be fulfilled so lets hope it keeps bumpng up as this page is open for a few months yet! Also anyone who did not get the chance to show their generosity this time round will soon have as i will be banking some more miles for the big race and applying for another charity run hopefully in the next month or so.

Now  please wish me luck for my application for the '08 London Marathon which comes out in August. 1 in 10 runners get through so i'm hoping to gain accsess from my chosen Charity, The Multiple Sclerosis Society. They will require a pledge for entery so please expect a few more e-mails of this nature asking for your help!

All the best,

Johnny

The plan is simple...i hope to run the 2008 London Marathon to raise money for The Multiple Sclerosis Society. But first i need to bank some miles, not just the pounds.
My donators for this, and cosequently all other runs will
be my fellowship and my motivation......along with my friends, the Kiley Family. The run on the 15th July is my first Charity event but not the first of several races throughout the year.  It's a 10K run which i aim to finish under 50mins! So lets get training with a small donation of even a whole pound. Don't push yourself too hard too soon! We don't want to get disheartened at the start.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: GCap Charities - Help a London Child will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
