Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We're taking to the field for our 21st match since 1991 and once again we've chosen to raise money for my old regiment - The Royal Dragoon Guards. The RDG have just returned from Afghanistan after their latest tour and they've seen plenty of action mentoring the police and operating the "Warthog Squadron".

There were plenty of close shaves and gunfights, but only one major incident when a vehicle was caught in a roadside blast and poor Cpl Waters - the driver - lost his legs. He is currently learning how to walk on prosthetic legs.

We must help him, together with the many wounded who returned from the regiment's previous tour who still need ongoing treatment. Who needs a reminder after the horrors of Woolwich last week that these brave lads are still putting themselves in danger wherever they're serving.

This is why we are fund raising once again. So please dig deep.
