Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We didn't know much about the work Marie Curie nurses did until Trevor came home for his final days with us. He didn't want to spend his remaining days at the hospice, he wanted to be with his family in familiar surroundings.
Without the help, support and kindness of the Marie Curie nurses, we would have been lost; they knew exactly what we were going through, they knew what words offered solace, when to come forward and support us, and when to step back and allow us to grieve.
They would sit with Trevor and be a companion to him when we needed to rest and held vigil in the very last hours when it was all too much for the rest of us to bear.
As ever, words of thanks never quite suffice at times like these, so we would like to offer our deepest gratitude by trying to raise as much money as we can for their tireless efforts through this run.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
