Johns&Co are proud of Richard House Children's Hospice.

Richard House Children's Hospice serves the heart of East London. They deliver specialist care for babies, children, and young adults, while supporting their families through counselling, therapy, bereavement support and more. With a focus on living for today and creating positive memories for tomorrow, they also offer a range of activities for all the family to enjoy. Their services are completely free of charge and as a local charity over 70% of their income comes from fundraising.

When we first chose a Charity to support, we asked our employees to vote on what type of charity they would like the business to support. More than 50 per cent said they wanted to support a children’s hospice, so we sought to partner with a local charity that fit the bill.

We’ve had the opportunity to visit Richard House on a couple of different occasions and have been blown away by the work they do. They rely heavily on donations from the local community and small businesses, and we’re hoping to raise £10,000 for them this year to help them achieve their goals.

In order to hit our target of £10,000, we’re planning company-wide fundraising activities, including team quiz nights, our annual Golf Tournament and much more.
