John Schrober Memorial Fund

Thank you for visiting this page honoring my father, John Schrober.
Dad lost his battle with non-small cell lung cancer on November 15, 2017. Over the last two years we've struggled with how we could adequately honor his memory and make a tangible impact in the lung cancer community.
Ultimately what he wanted was to live. He was given more time because of cutting edge treatments for late-stage lung cancer patients but it wasn't enough. He wanted to beat the disease and live into his 80s and spend more time with us. He didn't get that chance but I would really like to find a way to give that chance to others.
Lung Cancer Research Foundation is 100% focused on funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer. They have funded more than $33 million through 364 research grants - the most of any lung cancer-dedicated organization in the country. If any organization is going to give other patients the chance my Dad didn't get, it will be LCRF. Of this I am certain.
I want to contribute to their current and future success by raising $10,000 in Schrobie's memory and I want all of you to join me. Make a donation of any amount. It will absolutely add up and LCRF will be able to do something truly amazing with this money.
