Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I'm running the London Marathon to raise money for research into Neuroblastoma, the biggest cancer killer of children under 5. This is a devastating condition with a very low survival rate.
Last year one of our young Sparks supporters, George Yeomans, lost a long and brave fight against Neuroblastoma shortly before his 10th birthday. He was a fantastic child with much to look forward to in life. Sadly it wasn't to be, despite the best efforts of his medical team and the wonderful support of his family. I'm running in memory of George; and for all the other children who may never get the opportunity to run a race.
I use the word running advisedly - it will be more of a prolonged shuffle. The race starts on the Sunday morning and, if you want to cheer me on, I suggest you come on Monday when it will be quieter. I'll still be running!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sparks gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
