Help us raise funds to support veterans and serving military personnel throughout Covid-19 and beyond!

Story

On the 18th June 2020, I will be helping my reenactment group, the 2eme Legere, cover 26 miles for charity. More details about the charity, Waterloo Uncovered, below:

Waterloo Uncovered combines world-class archaeology with a programme of care and recovery for veterans and serving military personnel suffering from some of the physical and mental impacts of their service. Since 2015 the charity has been excavating on the site of one of the world's most decisive battles - Waterloo in Belgium. In that time, we have supported over 100 beneficiaries and have made important new discoveries about the battle and the men who took part. Support us now to help us continue to support more veterans and military personnel!

The 2e Regiment d'Infanterie Legere are a UK reenactment group that portrays French soldiers of the Napoleonic Wars. Waterloo has captured our imagination for many years and it is a pleasure to commemorate it in aid of such a worthy cause. The historical 2e Legere fought in the Battle of Waterloo and so we are doing this as a tribute to those who fought on both sides.
