In June 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Giant's Causeway Mighty Hike, "a walking marathon", to help raise money for people living with cancer.

The cause is particularly important to me - I lost my mother to bowel cancer 5 years ago, and my father is living with prostate cancer.

Plus the challenge will be, well, challenging since I broke my ankle recently and still struggle to walk more than a few miles.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my pledge. £250 can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
