Cots for Tots is the special care baby charity raising money to save and transform lives at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Michael’s Hospital Bristol, and Cots for Tots House, free 'home from home' accommodation for families of babies from Bristol, the South West, South Wales and beyond.

Story

On April 7th, once again, skydiving pensioner John Wilikins will be taking the plunge to support the Cots for Tots Appeal!

Cots for Tots is a £1million fundraising campaign that was launched by Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal to expand the region’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol.

The event is taking place at Redland Airfield near Swindon, where Grand Appeal fundraiser extraordinaire John will lead 30 fellow daredevils. This will make a total of 34 skydives undertaken by John for the charity.

Over the past 13 years John has raised over £170,000 for the Grand Appeal through daring stunts including skydiving, abseiling and a zip slide down the Avon Gorge with his grandson Elliott.
