St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.

Like so many people I have lost friends and family members to cancer andI want to do what I can to help provide  comfort and expert care when it’s so badly needed 

I am blessed with good health and the timing is good for me to devote time to fund raising as well as preparing for the trek! It gives me an excellent excuse to get out and about singing some old songs with some mates and our guitars  and shake a collection bucket!

I am inspired by the challenge of the expedition in April 2022 ( travel restrictions permitting) in an area I’ve always wanted to visit.My elder son has done it and I have been jealous for a while! As the opportunity to do this is a personal benefit to me I am going to pay for my own place entirely, so ALL my fundraising goes to this great charity “
