I am attempting to do this 26 mile hike marathon in order to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Research Charity, so they may continue to do the wonderful job they are doing at this moment in time. An awful lot of people have stories to tell about how cancer has affected them or someone who is close to them and I hope that one day there will be a cure so no one has to suffer or go through the grief of losing someone special to such an aggressive illness.
