The Bodie Hodges Foundation has 5 runners entered into the London Marathon 2023. Their fundraising will help the charity to continue to provide support to families bereaved of a child.

Story

So, many of you will know I enjoy playing Cricket and watching football but wouldn't call myself a runner. However, I have taken up the ultimate challenge and have been accepted to run the London Marathon in April 2023 and will be raising money for Bodie Hodges Foundation.

As a non-runner, I started my training in July 2022 and already seeing the benefits. But I need your help! Send me your tips, training techniques and ideas to support me as I embark on this journey. If you have run the Marathon before, what motivated you and got you around? I need training ideas, music ideas & more. Together let's get this challenge completed and support a fabulous Charity.

Jon said “most people think I’m joking when I tell them, but I am actually really excited about doing the London Marathon. I have set myself a challenge, I’m pushing myself out of my comfort zone and doing it for an amazing cause.”

My running partner: Martin Molloy

Highlights of Training

Running my first 10K
Running the Draycote Water Half Marathon
Running across the Golden Gate Bridge in San-Fransisco
