At Moorview Rescue we take in neglected and unwanted animals and work tirelessly to help find them new, loving, forever homes. To date, we have helped re-homed over 2000 animals from around the UK. Your donation can help with with vet check ups, vaccinations, emergency vets bills and food.

Story

I will be riding the first stage of this year's Tour de France to raise money for Moor View Dog Rescue.  The route I'm doing is just short of 128 miles and has about 2400m of climbing in it .  The plan is to ride the route on the 24th August 2014, although this may change.

Moor View Dog Rescue has been running for 6 years and has saved hundreds of dogs, from all over the country, and rehomed them to loving families. These dogs are sometimes just victims of circumstance, either a change in work schedules/family situations, other times they are cruelty cases which have been entrusted to the rescue from the police, and a lot of the time they are rescued from dog-pounds where their alternative is to be put to sleep and be robbed of the opportunity to live a full and happy life in a loving environment. Moor View is constantly trying to raise funds to ensure that as many dogs as possible are brought into rescue to give them that second chance they deserve.
