Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page

Every year I try to undertake a challenge to raise money for charity and often they are connected to friends causes.

This year is a little different and a lot closer to home.

I am undertaking a 100 mile bike ride in aid of the Epilepsy Society.

The reason behind this is that my son George (who is five) was diagnosed with this condition early last year following a terrible weekend of seizures.

Seeing what it did to him broke our hearts and ever since I have tried to understand this complicated condition, a little better.

Part of that decision was to help raise both awareness and funds for the charities that fund further research into the causes and treatment.

So on that note myself and my very good friend, Mark Hughes, will undertake a 100 mile bike ride with the aim to complete the race in under seven hours.

We would be very grateful for any donations, no matter how small.

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

Regards
