Story
On Saturday 4th September I will be starting LEJOG; an endurance cycle between Lands End and John O’Groats. I am joining my friends Richard Woodford and Mike Coulter in completing the challenge in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
Prostate Cancer UK is a fantastic charity which is very close to us as it supported Richard following his diagnosis with Prostate Cancer in 2018. This is an incredible challenge; one which I am looking forward to joining Richard on and hoping to raise more funds for the support he has been given by the Charity.
We will be covering over 100 miles per day, not all of which will be flat! There will be many hills and probably lots of chamois cream involved, but we have been training hard and hopefully we will be joined by friends along the way to help us complete the ride!
The money we raise will help the charity to find better treatments and tests and fund initiatives such as screening programmes which could help save thousands of lives. Any support large or small will be hugely appreciated.
