Last September I went for what I thought would be a routine check on my heart at my local hospital. Within my first test I was warned of a problem with my heart and two days later I was giving the news that I would have to have a double heart bypass asap.

A week later i was I "blue lit" (I know all the jargon now!) into Harefield Hospital and was amazed at the dedication, knowledge and care I was given during my stay. Three days after the operation I was home, feeling like I'd been hit by a train but thankful that I was back with my family, breathing.

So this is something I've never done and hope you all can support me in raising some funds for this life changing hospital.
