are due to Allah and peace and blessings be upon His final messenger Muhammad (SAW), upon his noble and pure family and upon his companions.

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Hawan Bibi Rumjon passed away on Monday 12^th September 2022 after many years of suffering with cancer. We ask Allah (SWT) to forgive and erase all of her sins, to purify her and to elevate her to the highest ranks of Paradise.

Our mother had many exemplary qualities. She showed great patience in dealing with her illness over many years. Yet despite this great trial she still remained in the service of others. She was an extremely generous person who wouldn’t hesitate to help others and whose door was always open to receive visitors and the needy.

She was always involved in various charitable causes and became even more generous during the month of Ramadan, following in the example of our beloved prophet Muhammad SAW.

As we enter the last 10 days and nights of Ramadan we would like to continue our mother's legacy and honour her by raising funds to build a masjid in her name as a Sadaqah Jaariyah that will continue to benefit her.

As the Messenger of Allah (Saw) said: “When a man dies his deeds come to an end except for three things; Sadaqah jaariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him”. [Muslim]

By helping to build a masjid you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a place of worship but your Sadaqah Jaariyah will continue giving benefit for generations to come.
