In April, I will be running the London Marathon for Child Action Nepal. Child Action Nepal (CAN) was established as a Charitable Trust in April 2003 and is registered with the Charity Commission in London. Our purpose is to raise money to support orphanages in Nepal of relatively small size (20 to 25 children maximum) with the aim of providing high quality education and healthcare and a caring environment for the children. The Trust’s current project is Laliguraas Baal Uddhyaan (LBU), an orphanage situated in the Kathmandu Valley. LBU was established in 2002 by one of the trustees and is currently caring for 20 children who are going to School, college or university. CAN is not funded by any major international organisation and is wholly reliant on your donations.
