In March I am taking part in the Jurassic Coast Challenge, which consists of three marathons in three days, following the coastal path from Charmouth to Shell Bay.

I have chosen to support the Migrants Rights Network in the valuable work they do in representing and promoting the rights, views and experiences of migrants to this country. There is currently a wave of misinformation, distorted facts and mistruths about migration  to the UK. We are being encouraged to mistrust the motivations of migrants and the effects of migration and to forget that the UK is a nation that has a long history of inclusion, tolerance and fairness. In my opinion we should celebrate the fact that others wish to come to this country, enriching our culture, lives and workforce. If you feel the same please give a small donation. If you feel differently please still give a donation, as 78 miles is a long way, along a very challenging route and I will be in a lot of pain!
