Last year I lost my wonderful mum after a long, brutal illness. It was devastating to say the least.

To celebrate her life, I’m swimming the Dart 10K in September. It’s a 10km swim down the River Dart in Devon that’s likely going to take me at least three and a half hours to complete... if I make it to the end! 

I’m raising money for Level Water - a charity who provide swimming lessons for children with disabilities. It feels like a fitting way to remember mum, who spent a big chunk of her life teaching children and people with disabilities the joy of swimming (that’s her swimming with me a few years ago in the second pic). 

I know there is a lot of pressure on people’s finances at the moment but if anyone would like to sponsor me, it would mean the world. Thank you. 🙏🏊‍♂️
