Story

Hello everyone,

Firstly thank you for stopping by.

My Name is Jonathan and I will be taking part in a night of charity boxing on Friday 18th November organised by White Collar Boxing London, my chosen charity being Samaritans.

A little about Samaritans:

The Charity was founded in 1953, and provides emotional support to people in destress, struggling to cope or at risk of suicide.  With 201 branches across the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

Their work on suicide preventions holds a close connections to my heart, as a Veteran of the British Army I have lost a number of friends to suicide.

In July a close friend whom I had the pleasure of serving with and calling my friend took his own life. He was a shoulder to lean on for so many, whose door would be open for everyone, a shining star whose infectious smile and sense of humour would brighten up even the worse situations. It’s often the strongest and most caring among us that struggle the most in secret.

With the permission of his family this fight will be dedicated in his honour and loving memory with the money being raised in order to potentially save lives.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, and for any and all donations from the bottom of my heart I will always appreciate it.

Do you know that every £5 raised has the power to answer a potentially life-saving call. This could stop someone from crossing the line or save a family from heartbreaking news.

If you would like tickets to the fight please don’t hesitate to contact me.

💙❤️💙
